How We Prepare Foster Teens for Adulthood

Grants: Ticket to Dream funds and collaborates with programs focused on housing, education, and life/job skills to nationally increase the support systems for youth aging out of care.

Cards for Grads: Graduating high school or college is worth celebrating especially for foster youth. This program works with volunteers to create and ship cards of congrats with gift cards to graduating foster youth to help them celebrate this milestone.

Laptops for Success: One laptop in the hands of a foster student can increase the likelihood of graduation, college enrollment, future employment and even decrease depression rates. 80% of foster youth do not have consistent access to a computer leaving them to fall further behind in school and not have the needed tech skills required for employment.  We are able to rapidly identify the need for computer access and dispatch a laptops directly to middle school, high school, and college-aged foster youth.
